Requires a bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, sociology, counseling, human services, human resource development (human service track), education, child development and family science or criminal justice, and two years of professional human services work experience as a social worker, child protective service worker, or professional case manager. A Master’s degree in one of the areas above may substitute for one year of the work experience requirement.
If no qualified applicants are found, we will consider filling as a Family Services Specialist II (SC 7004). Must possess a valid driver's license and proof of insurance. The ability to visit persons in their own homes using own transportation is required for this position. Must complete Child Welfare Certification.
