We are seeking a Print and Mail Specialist to join our OMB Central Services team. OMB operates centralized print, mail, and business supply operations for the state of North Dakota. The Print and Mail Specialist will perform a variety of duties related to print and mail operations, print and mail job development, operating printing and mailing equipment, and providing exceptional service to state agencies for their printing and mailing needs.

To thrive in this position, you must have a broad knowledge of printing and mailing operations and postal regulations. You will have strong customer service and business skills related to printing and mailing operations.

In this position, you will partner with state agencies and help them to prepare printing and mailing requests, providing guidance about available options and related costs. These duties include: 

  • Reviewing print/mail requests to determine work to be done and ensure accuracy for state agencies, 
  • Preparing proofs for agency review, make needed adjustments, and obtain approval prior to job setup and production.
  • Utilizing Excel and Adobe to track and manage print and mail requests 
  • Coordinating needed graphic arts, materials ordering, and production scheduling.
  • Operating a variety of equipment to produce high-volume daily print and mail.
  • Performing finishing and bindery work. 
  • Operating high speed digital copiers and inserters; troubleshooting or requesting maintenance, as needed.

To be considered for this position, you must have a high school diploma/GED and two years of print and mail business operations experience.

Hiring Salary: $3,500 - $4,000/month, depending on experience
